Tallits are custom made to order. (The tallit is a fringed garment traditionally worn either under or over one's clothing by Jewish males and females. It is a Shawl-like garment with special twined and knotted fringes known as tzitzit attached to its four corners). Made to order items will take up two or more weeks to produce.
Challah cover is a special cloth used to cover the two braided loaves (challah) set out on the table at the beginning of a Shabbat or Yom Tov meal. While its appearance lends a decorative and ceremonial aspect to the set table, its presence serves both a halakhic and symbolic function.
